1x1=1 or 1x1=2

Is 1×1=1 or is 1×1=2 ?

Recently, I’ve been drawn to the discussion about whether 1×1 equals 1 or 2. This question is also discussed here, based on the claims of Terrence D. Howard. However, I’ve been told by someone else that 1×1 was 2, not 1, who also vaguely referred to quantum physics. This person actually led me to searching on that topic and discovering the aforementioned discussion. After reviewing some of the arguments, I think it can be both, similar to the uncertainty principle (Heisenberg’s indeterminacy principle) in quantum physics. Since mathematics seem to be such a staple in describing physics, having an equivalent on a fundamental term seems logical to me.

That was quite intriguing!
